00:00:00: So let's talk a bit about Tfila.

00:00:03: The Gmarian Brachis and Davava Mubais says that tfila is one of the things that is earned in Barumaysh al-Aulam, it stands at the zenith of the universe.

00:00:11: Its importance is on top of the world And Bnei Adam is Alzalim boy but even still people don't take it seriously.

00:00:19: People do not give tfela its proper respect.

00:00:22: Tfela is most incredible powerful gift we have.

00:00:26: In the same way there was Nivua Way back when Hashem communicated with people, Hashem spoke to people.

00:00:33: Even though we don't have that anymore where Hashem speaks directly We had Tafilah which is the other way around That we can still speak to Hashem directly.

00:00:40: When a person is dawning He's standing in front of Hashem And he's talking to Hashim.

00:00:44: It was the most incredible gift that a person could have.

00:00:49: The Ram Bam famously holds that the mitzvah of Tafi'la Is a mitzva.

00:00:53: there Aisha He counts it In the six hundred and thirteen mitzvs.

00:00:56: Mitzvahe is the mitzvah to Da'van every day.

00:00:58: The Rambam holds that, although three times a day and exactly when... And which words say?

00:01:04: That's all the rabanem But the Torah commanded us to da'van everyday.

00:01:08: On the ramban Famously argues on the rumbum.

00:01:11: It says there isn't no specific mitzva minatera To Da'ven Every Day.

00:01:15: He maybe said There was a mitzah for a person in Da'vin When he had a hard time In an ashtara.

00:01:22: Not necessarily to Da Vin Everyday.

00:01:24: However in the beginning of Hilchis Tvila gives an incredible haqdama to Hilchus Tvilla and he says something phenomenal over there.

00:01:34: He says, certainly according to the Ramban it's inconceivable that the Torah does not command us to Da'van every day.

00:01:44: It has to be that The Torah wants you to da'van to Hashem Every single Day...it doesn't make any sense That they would not be such a mitzvah.

00:01:51: Rather, he says, the mitzva of tvila is so fundamental that it can't be counted as just a single mitzvah in six hundred and thirteen mitzvs because its the foundation of everything.

00:02:04: And he says, Just like there's Ramach Mitzvah I say two-hundred forty eight mitsvahs I said correspond to two hundred and forty eight limbs on body.

00:02:14: so the mitzva of Tfila cannot compare them with one limb of their bodies.

00:02:17: The tfila is like the spine of our body which holds all together.

00:02:22: It's the foundation for every thing.

00:02:24: So it goes without saying that you have to dab and ta'ashem.

00:02:27: It doesn't have be an individual mitzvah, its the foundation of all mitzvs.

00:02:31: This is incredible thing that Aruch Hashul Khan is saying.

00:02:33: this is a Litvish Shirav And he's saying that Tfila Is the assertive of all Mitzvahs even though Talmud Tehira is mentioned as An Individual Mitzva.

00:02:43: so would seem like at least in some regard giving more importance tfila over the mitzava learning tehira.

00:02:52: And yet even though Tfilah is such an incredible mitzvah and such an incredibly gift, the Gemara says that people are still mazalzilan.

00:03:00: Don't take it seriously!

00:03:01: Why do not people take Tfilá seriously?

00:03:04: Possibly because they're speaking to Hashem every day or just saying their words.

00:03:09: They forget you really talk to Hashim like it's said over there that Repshimshon Pinkus' daughter was davening once.

00:03:16: so when she finished davenying her father asked who were we talking about?

00:03:19: She said nobody.

00:03:20: I wasn't talking with anybody.

00:03:21: He asked her again, who are you talking to?

00:03:22: She said nobody.

00:03:23: They finally said he weren't talking to anybody.

00:03:25: or aren't your talking to Hashem?

00:03:26: We forget that when we're dovening were not just doing a religious act of saying some words but supposed be talking to the Hashem.

00:03:32: And it seems also people maybe don't know some basic halachas of Tfilah.

00:03:38: Possibly take for granted that tfilah is such an important thing and such natural things That everybody probably knows the Halachas on their own.

00:03:45: It doesn't have to go through them.

00:03:48: So could be that people are missing basic halachos that they need to know.

00:03:52: Now it goes without saying, since I'm talking about this obviously my personal Tafila is absolutely perfect and i have no room to work on anything... ...and I don't have to grow at all.

00:04:02: so thats why im gonna just tell you what everybody else does wrong.. ..and what ive observed from looking around being nosy and spying in everyone else And try point out ways Everybody can fix their Tvila and grow, know more about it.

00:04:19: And maybe even there will be something for me to learn.

00:04:22: So that's gonna be the plan.

00:04:24: Join us on this journey...and enjoy.
